​Julie Ganey is a Chicago actor, storyteller, and educator. As a performer, she has worked with the Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens, Northlight Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, Shattered Globe, Theatre 16th Street Theatre and Drury Lane Theatre, among others. Her original solo shows, The Half-Life of Magic, Love Thy Neighbor...till it hurts, and Good Enough, have been produced by 16th Street Theatre, Fillet of Solo at Lifeline Theatre, and Next Theatre. Julie is a company member at 2nd Story, where she regularly performs and collaborates with other story makers. Through Wavelength, an award-winning comedy ensemble that performs for educators, she has created and led workshops for teachers and executives all over the country on communication skills and improvisation. Julie serves as the Education Director at Lifeline Theatre, a teaching artist in the GeNarrations program at the Goodman Theatre, and a trainer/consulting associate with Morten Group, LLC. Julie holds a BFA from The Theatre School, and is an AEA and SAG/AFTRA member.
