Alex is a theatrical draper and craftsperson. She received her BFA in Costume Design & Technology in 2016 from Pennsylvania State University and an MFA in Costume Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was the Gillings Graduate Research Fellow for the costume department at Chapel Hill and spent time researching practical applications for digital technology, such as 3D printing and laser cutting for use in regional theatres. Alex has previously worked as a draper for PlayMakers Repertory Company and Utah Shakespeare Festival.
