Janelle Snow is a graduate of Northwestern and Harvard Universities and has been active in the Chicago acting community for over three decades. She has appeared on stage at the Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Victory Gardens Theater, American Theatre Company, Chicago Dramatists, Eclipse Theatre, Circle Theatre and more, picking up multiple Jeff nominations and awards along the way. She also trained and performed at Second City and iO, and has studied with Uta Hagen and F. Murray Abraham.
A proud member of Actors' Equity and SAG-AFTRA, her on-camera work includes recurring roles on Chicago Med and Chicago Fire and appearances on various network programs including the upcoming The Big Leap, Empire, and Next, as well as the web series Brothers From the Suburbs and numerous commercials. Her film credits include the lead in a recently released feature alongside Ed Asner and Sean Young, the comedies Inferno, and Stage Four (Best Actress Nomination from the Midwest Independent Film Festival), and the dramas Exodus and Gardening at Night.
Janelle worked in casting alongside Jane Alderman, C.S.A. for several years and teaches On Camera Acting and Professional Preparation in the MFA program at The Theatre School at DePaul University.
