Carolyn Hoerdemann holds a BFA from The Theatre School and an MAAE from
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She teaches Performance
Workshop at The Theatre School. She has performed at Chicago
Shakespeare, European Repertory Company, American Players Theatre, Live
Bait Theater, Prop Theater, Collaboraction and other Chicago Theatres.
Carolyn adapted The Selfish Giant And Other Wilde Tales for Chicago Playworks and she directed Genderupture at The Theatre School in 2005. She is also the director of Visibility Counts,
a young women's performance experiment at Insight Arts in Rogers Park.
Carolyn has received The Hilgos Award from The School of the Art
Institute of Chicago to produce art work with senior citizens and has
created two video story-telling projects at St. Clara's Manor in
Lincoln, Illinois.
