Mia is a multi-dimensional artist and connection enthusiast based in Chicago, IL. She is passionate about community engagement through acting, producing events, teaching yoga, and more. Mia loves acting as a way to connect to something larger than herself. "Miss Mia" has co-hosted the kid's music TV show, Chic-A-Go-Go, since 1998 and began her on-camera acting career in 2000. As an advocate for Asian American representation, Mia's started several APIDA theatre groups and proudly brings her whole self on-stage at venues like Goodman Theatre, and on-camera for shows like Disney's Saturdays, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Empire, and more. Mia's honored to be the first Asian American faculty in the MFA program at The Theatre School and looks forward to the continual growth of diversity at TTS.
