​Chris joined The Theatre School in 1997 and served as its Director of Production until his retirement in 2023. At the Theatre School, Chris has been an adjunct faculty member, and has served on several faculty and staff search and review committees, strategic planning committees, facility planning and university committees. Chris is a member of USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology), USITT Midwest chapter, EAIA (Early American Industries Association), the American Welding Society, the Joseph Jefferson Arts and Technical Team, and is a company member emeritus of TimeLine Theatre Company and former member of IASTE local 498. Chris holds a BA from Adams State College, Colorado. His technical theatre credits include work as a designer, rigger, carpenter, property master and technical director, stage manager and production manager. Chris is a resource for automation, effects, rigging and gadgets.​
