​As a working theatre professional Jack has designed more than 350 productions in the United States and abroad for Off-Broadway, Chicago, and regional theatres such as Arena Stage, Lincoln Center Theatre, South Coast Rep, Barrington Stage, Goodman Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Court Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Geva Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Steppenwolf Theatre, Repertory Theatre of St Louis, Writers’ Theatre, ​Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Galway Arts Festival, among many others.  His design work has been recognized many times by the Joseph Jefferson Award Committee and he is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.  Jack has taught all areas of stage design and technology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  He has been Adjunct Professor at The Theatre School since 2000 and currently teaches Scene Design, Model Building, PhotoShop for Designers, and Portfolio Presentation.  Jack is a 1991 graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program in Stage Design at Northwestern University.
