Lana is a Chicago based makeup artist, cosmetologist, and wigmaker active in the theatre and television industry with over 15 years of experience. Lana discovered her love of theatre while obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Michigan. She has since worked with numerous theatre and opera organizations including Lyric Opera, Broadway in Chicago, Florentine Opera, Pine Mountain Music Festival, Northwestern University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Michigan.
She continued her education by completing a Master of Science degree in the field of anaplastology. There she was able to learn highly detailed prosthetic making skills for patients to wear in their everyday life. This skill set has been a great asset while working as a makeup artist on television shows. As an IATSE Local 476 union member she has worked both nationally and internationally gaining experience in both the hair and makeup side of the film industry.
