Measure for Measure
- by William Shakespeare
- directed by Catherine Weidner
1914 Austria. Shakespeare’s dark comedy of corruption and desire juxtaposes the pristine streets of Vienna with the beds, jails, and shadows of the city’s underbelly. Can his sister Isabella – an aspiring nun – save his life without losing her virtue? Will the Duke intervene in time?
