​Helaina (she/her) is a playwright and new plays dramaturg. She has an immense passion for new play development. She immerses herself in theatrical work in a variety of ways: playwriting, dramaturgy, casting, and literary management. Her plays are as sensitive, as hilarious, as non-traditional, as topsy-turvy, as black, and as magical as she is. Her work explores whimsy, twisting, and warping as the characters are thrown into the arena of the stage as their lives begin to unravel.
