Mallory Metoxen

MFA Directing

Mallory is a director dedicated to nurturing new works, reinvigorating classics with a feminist lens, and demolishing the gender parity gap in the theater industry. She is currently Artistic Associate for Seven Devils New Play Foundry and was formerly Renaissance Theaterworks’ Artistic Associate and Director of New Play Development where she founded and ran Br!NK; a play development festival for Midwestern women playwrights. Select directing credits: All of the Everything, Lucky Numbers (Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival), The Thanksgiving Play, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, Ring Round the Moon, The How and the Why, Underbelly, Fefu and Her Friends (The Theatre School) Sex with Strangers, The Drowning Girls, The Understudy (Renaissance Theaterworks), The Effect of Gamma Rays On Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds (Splinter Group), These Shining Lives (Umbrella Group), and many new works in different stages of development and production.
