Tori Thompson

MFA Acting

Tori is an actor, artist, storyteller, singer, and teacher from Fairfield, California. She received her bachelor's degree in drama from U.C. Irvine where she directed and starred in an independent production of The Wiz months before being the only Black student admitted to the UCI New York Satellite Program in 2017. Her Theatre School credits include Kin (Helena), Our Lady of Kibeho (Ruyuki), The Rover (Valeria/Biskey), Measure for Measure (Provost), Long Time Since Yesterday (Thelma Carlson), and Dance Nation (Ashlee). Tori was also in two world premieres: Comb Your Hair (Or You'll Look Like a Slave) written by LeeLee Jackson, where she played various roles; and The Tomorrow Show where she played the role of Aaliyah. Tori is forever grateful for all of the love and prayers that her family continues to provide for her.​​
