Kidjie Boyer

BFA Acting

Kidjie Boyer is a Haitian-American multidisciplinary performance artist. She was raised in Miami and is currently based in Chicago. During her time at The Theatre School, she was named the 2019-2020 Sarah Siddons Society scholar, the 2020-2021 Julia Neary Memorial Endowed scholar, and DePaul University's 2020-2021 Student Employee of the Year. She is a founding member of Black Artists of Today (B.A.T.) and helped create and maintain the Theatre School's first community wellness campaign. Theatre School credits include: Asia/Gabby in the workshop reading of Tall Enough, Destiny in the radio play Trials and Tribulations, various roles in Love and Information, Anathalie in Our Lady of Kibeho, and Beatrice in A View from the Bridge. Her film and voiceover credits include Hominidae, A House Divided, Contact High, Rent's Due, and Garden Row. Kidjie is represented by Paonessa Talent. #AllBlackLivesMatter​
