Antonio L. Rodriguez

MFA Acting

​Antonio L. Rodriguez is an actor, singer, writer, solo performer, teaching artist, and queer human of earth looking to make impactful, community-driven art in Chicago, the city he calls home. Antonio received a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Washington University in St. Louis and began acting shortly after graduation. Favorite professional credits: Clown in The Winter's Tale and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare Festival St. Louis), Gidger in The Violet Hour and Abbe de Coulmier in Quills (Max and Louie Productions), and Bobby Strong in Urinetown (Stray Dog Theatre). Theatre School credits include Duke Vincentio in Measure for Measure and Narcissus in Polaroid Stories. This May he can be seen playing the King in Ionesco's Exit the King in a streamed, outdoor production at TTS. Antonio is a proud member of Actors' Equity.
