Our Artistic Home:
2350 N Racine Ave (@ Fullerton)
We can't wait to see you at the theatre!
Designed by the internationally renowned architect César Pelli, and his firm Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, DePaul University's Theatre School is located at the corner of Fullerton and Racine on the Lincoln Park campus and opened in September of 2013. The design process was informed by its dual function: to be a performance and public space, as well as a private conservatory of all theatrical disciplines.
The Dr. John R. and Joyce L. Watts Theatre
The Sondra A. & Denis Healy Theatre
The building also includes our costume, makeup, prop and scene shops, rehearsal studios, lighting laboratories, movement studios, and much more.
This is our artistic home. Here we rehearse, collaborate, and learn in a facility designed and developed specifically to meet the creative needs of theatre artists and experts. Here we perform contemporary and classic plays, as well as bold new work.
