Meet young Gabi Castillo from West Town Chicago. Gabi ventures across town to attend Northside College Prep where she encounters new cultures, classmates, and opportunities. Through a class project Gabi delves into the mystery behind her family’s migration from Mexico to the United States. Join us for this tale of courage and self-discovery told through dreams of both future and past.

The cast features
Mariana Castro Florez (Gabi Castillo), Gregory Fields (Ricardo Wojciekowski), Thalis Karatsolis-Chanikian (Reymundo Castillo/Husband), Dre Marquis (Jesus Castillo), Maria Teresa Matheus (La Mujer Azul), Juan Pablo Ocasio (El Coyote), and Claudia Quesada (Dolores Castillo/Pregnant Wife).


The production team includes scenic design by Alyssa Mohn, costume design by Tia Nicole Lui, lighting design by Mattias Lange-McPherson, sound design by Alyssa Kerr, dramaturgy by Hannah Greenspan, stage management by Jonathan S. Campbell. ​​​​​​​

The performances of Augusta and Noble on 11/3 (10 AM) and 11/4 (2 PM) will be interpreted in American Sign Language. Call TTY (773) 325-7975. We also offer Sennheiser personal listening devices for each performance at DePaul's Merle Reskin Theatre. These assistive listening devices are available to patrons upon request.

Audio Description Services:
