Alphonsine claims to have seen visions of the Virgin Mary and is ostracized in the all-girls’ Catholic school she attends…until others confirm seeing the same visions that foretell the genocide in Rwanda. Based on true and tragic events, Our Lady of Kibeho is a story of faith and everyday miracles that explores the questions of religion and belief.

The Center for Black Diaspora, The Theatre School will host a lecture on 11/5 titled "Healing in Pre and Post Genocide Burundi and Rwanda: The Role of Ubuntu and More Agency" led by Jeanine Ntihiragez, PhD. The lecture will be held in The Theatre School lobby from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
