A small theatre company faces criticism and threats to their safety as they try to share a forbidden love story across Europe and the Yiddish theatre scene of New York City. Through glimpses into the tenacity of the Jewish spirit, Indecent proves that Yiddish theatre, a practice of song, mysticism, and heart, has not yet had its last wo​rd.​​

​The cast features Eliana Deckner-Glick (Chana), Hannah Dubner (Vera/Dance Captain), Dan Haller (Lemml), Caleb Harbin (Avram), Mira Kessler (Halina), Zach Schnitzer (Mendel), and Marlo Shagar (Otto).

The production team includes choreography by Lin Batsheva Kahn, music direction by Mark Elliott,​ intimacy & violence direction by Claire Yearman, ​​voice and dialect coaching by Phil Timberlake, scenic design by Abby West, costume design by Avery Lauer, lighting design by Aria Morris, projection design by Grant Palmer, sound design by Christopher Cook and Forrest Gregor, technical direction by Ollie Gillespie, dramaturgy by Liz Bazzoli, Leah Geisler, and Emily Townley, and stage management by Joshua Clewis.​​
