Daniel Moser

Daniel recently completed his Performance Studies from Northwestern University. His dissertation, Victory Gardens 1974-2001: A Cultural History of Chicago Theatre chronicles the history, culture and values of the 2001 Tony Award winning Victory Gardens Theater, also known as America's Center for New Plays (Wall Street Journal). He is a professional actor (AEA, SAG) with numerous credits in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as a produced playwright and former ensemble member of the American Playwrights Theatre. As an artist/scholar, Dr. Moser believes in the active intellectualism of theatre and stresses multicultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in his classes. He has taught courses in Shakespeare, Acting, Performance Studies, English, Humanities/Fine Arts and Adult/Distance education at Northwestern University, Loyola University, the University of Phoenix and of course, DePaul University.
