Jeff is a fat non-binary theatre artist and educator with a focus on comedy, queerness, fatness, and devised work. For a decade, they served as Head of the Music Program at the Second City Training Center, and they are currently the music director for the Second City Mainstage. They have directed and performed extensively in improvisation and sketch comedy both locally in Chicago, as well as across the country. They are a founding member of The Improvised Sondheim Project. As a playwright and songwriter, Jeff's work has been performed in Chicago and nationally, including their original song cycle Planted, and their musical Mary Rose, which will be debuting in 2021 with Black Button Eyes Productions. Their solo show, Good Fatty Goes Bad, premiered in summer of 2019 and will be touring in the near future. ​​
