Admissions auditions and interviews for applicants applying for entry in Fall 2016 are available both on campus in Chicago and in select regional locations. For design, technical, and theatre studies majors, video and phone interviews are also available.

A $50 audition/interview fee is required and must be paid when scheduling to confirm your reservation. Please visit our Conservatory page and select your intended major for application instructions and audition/interview information specific to that major.

Applicants to the BFA Stage Management program must first pass a pre-screening and then be invited to interview. Instructions to schedule the Stage Management interview are provided at that time. View the BFA Stage Management application requirements.

Graduate Programs

MFA Acting

Applicants to the MFA Arts Leadership and MFA Directing programs do not need to schedule an interview. Applicants selected as finalists for these programs will be invited to interview.
